Ask questions of guests and make personal connections to make them feel they are welcome and valuedMaintain the breakfast bar in an attractive, organized, and clean presentation while following brand standards and health codesPrepare all hot items according to directions and health department standardsAdhere to local health and safety regulationsMaintain any logs required by the health departmentEnsure that all items on the breakfast bar are kept at adequate quantities to accommodate the volume of guests in house using the first in, first out method for restockingEnsure that all food items on the breakfast bar food items are taken down within 30 minutes of breakfast closing timeClear, clean, and sanitize tables and chairs as they are vacatedWash and sanitize serving equipment, and return it to storage at breakfast closingRemove trash, vacuum/sweep/mop entire breakfast area, clean public restrooms, wash windows, and other duties as requiredPrep food for the next day according to hotel occupanciesPut away deliveries as soon as they arrive using the first in, first out method. Verify that every item on the invoice is accounted for and stored properly with label and dateSet up, service, and tear down meeting room as business dictatesFollow all Suburban Inns ProcessesExhibit regular and recurrent attendance recordsOther duties as requested by managementPosition Requirements:Minimum Knowledge: Requires ability to interpret/extract information and/or perform arithmetic functions. May require typing, basic computer knowledge, record keeping, or word processing.
