Job DutiesReinsurance Actuarial Managing Director- Health FocusedLocation Preferred: Chicago, New York | Open to VirtualAbout the RoleServe as a senior actuarial and analytics leader, advising clients on health risk financing and reinsurance strategy while driving growth, innovation, and complex client engagements. This role blends deep health actuarial expertise, reinsurance strategy, and senior client leadership to drive growth, profitability, and innovation within a health-focused risk and reinsurance platform. The Actuarial Managing Director serves as a trusted advisor to risk-taking organizations and is responsible for advancing analytics capabilities, shaping health risk financing strategies, and leading complex client engagements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead strategic actuarial and analytics support for complex client relationships across insurers, reinsurers, and health systemsAdvise on health risk financing and reinsurance structures, translating data into clear business recommendationsOversee advanced actuarial analyses (pricing, trends, risk modeling) and ensure highquality deliverablesDrive growth and business development, contributing to pipeline and client expansionLeverage advanced analytics and AI tools to enhance insights and improve efficiencyMentor teams and collaborate across functions to deliver integrated solutionsQualifications8+ years of health actuarial, reinsurance, or healthcare risk experienceStrong expertise in reinsurance, risk financing, and healthcare cost driversProven client leadership and ability to deliver complex, strategic insightsStrong business acumen and track record supporting growthAdvanced analytical skills (Excel required; R/Python preferred)Strong communication skills with executive presenceFSA preferred (ASA considered with experience)Aon is not accepting unsolicited resumes from search firms for this position. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive [an annual discretionary bonus] in addition to base salary.
