Production Manager - 2nd Shift

Job Description: Manages all aspects of production and daily operations of the 2nd shift production. Responsibilities: · Allocating and managing staff, providing positive, direct feedback to ensure that everyone is performing at a high level. Communicating daily production details to everyone from line staff to managers in a timely, accurate, and professional manner. Analyzing efficiency in all departments, identifying problems and implementing solutions. Ensuring that all production is completed while strictly adhering to food safety regulations. Ensures products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and to the quality standards of MSW and its customers. Develops and enforces policies and procedures for production methods, food safety, quality, and safety. Creates and implements continuous improvement solutions to decrease production costs, increase efficiency and improve quality. Plan, direct, and coordinate the packaging of products in compliance with company goals and objectives. Maintains effective employee utilization while maximizing production line productivity. Skills: High level leadership skills. Must be able to manage and communicate to staff. Ability to motivate, influence and train people Ability to interact professionally with all levels of management and non-management personnel High level of analytical and problem-solving skills Strong negotiating, decision making and organizational skills Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills Proficiency with MS Office; high level Excel skills 2 - 5 years experience in a production/manufacturing/supervisory roll Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour Schedule: Night shift Ability to Commute: Batesville, IN 47006 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Batesville, IN 47006: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
