A day in the lifeAt our Butte, MT 59701 facility, you'll kick off each shift by reviewing the day's build list and studying blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files. You'll set up CNC equipment, load programs, dial in offsets, and run first-article checks to verify dimensions. Throughout the run, you'll monitor machine performance to keep parts within spec and production on schedule, stepping in to troubleshoot issues and perform routine maintenance when needed.Quality is central to everything: you'll inspect finished components with precision measuring tools to confirm accuracy and compliance with standards. You'll also partner with teammates to streamline processes, reduce waste, and maintain a safe, organized work area that meets all safety protocols.What you'll handleSetting up and operating CNC machines to produce parts to specificationReading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD filesMonitoring operations for consistent quality and efficiencyConducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting CNC equipmentInspecting finished products to meet quality requirementsCollaborating with the team to improve processes and minimize wasteKeeping the work area clean and orderly while following safety proceduresWhat you bringHigh school diploma or equivalent; a machining-related technical degree or certification is preferredProven experience as a CNC Machinist or in a closely related roleAbility to read and interpret technical documents and blueprintsSolid understanding of CNC programming concepts and machining processesProficiency with precision measuring instruments and toolsExceptional attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilityClear communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindsetIf you thrive on precision and take pride in producing high-quality components while staying safe and on schedule, we'd love to connect.
