The Life Insurance Agent will meet with prospective and existing clients to assess their financial protection needs and recommend suitable life insurance products. Daily responsibilities include generating and following up on leads, conducting needs analyses, presenting coverage options, and guiding clients through applications and underwriting requirements. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in the agency’s systems, responding to client inquiries, and providing ongoing policy service and reviews. The agent will collaborate with colleagues, participate in regular training sessions, and stay current on product offerings, industry guidelines, and compliance standards.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Insurance and Life Insurance knowledge, including understanding of policy types, coverage options, and regulatory considerations.Candidates should possess Insurance Sales and Insurance Brokerage skills, with the ability to prospect, build a pipeline, and close client-centered solutions.Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and relationship-building with diverse clients.Candidates should possess Finance-related skills sufficient to discuss budgets, financial goals, and basic planning concepts with clients.State life insurance license (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe) is required; prior experience in life insurance or financial services is highly beneficial.Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with proficiency in basic office and CRM software.Ability to work on-site in Santa Monica, CA, collaborate with a team, and adhere to ethical and compliance standards.
