This role focuses on producing accurate, code-compliant drawings that support access control, video surveillance (CCTV), intrusion detection, intercom, and related low-voltage systems. The ideal candidate has strong AutoCAD skills, understands construction documents, and collaborates effectively with sales, engineering, and project teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain detailed CAD drawings for physical security systems, including:Access controlVideo surveillance (CCTV)Intrusion detectionIntercom and other low-voltage systemsProduce floor plans, riser diagrams, device layouts, detail sheets, and as-built drawingsInterpret architectural, electrical, and mechanical drawings to ensure accurate system placementCoordinate with sales engineers, project managers, and field teams to ensure designs align with project scope and customer requirementsUpdate drawings based on redlines, field feedback, and change ordersEnsure all drawings comply with industry standards, local codes, and project specificationsMaintain CAD standards, templates, and organized file structuresSupport pre-sales design efforts and post-installation documentation as neededRequired QualificationsProficiency in AutoCAD (AutoCAD Electrical or similar preferred)2+ years of experience creating CAD drawings for low-voltage, physical security, or systems integration projectsStrong understanding of construction documentation and floor plan interpretationWorking knowledge of physical security systems and componentsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teamsNice-to-Have SkillsBackground in cable installation or field workHands-on experience with low-voltage installationsFamiliarity with access control systems, VMS platforms, and device manufacturersKnowledge of basic electrical principles and structured cabling standardsExperience with Bluebeam, Visio, or BIM coordinationEducation & CertificationsAssociate degree or technical certification in CAD, drafting, or a related field preferredEmployee Value PropositionThis is an opportunity to join a top security systems integrator with significant long-term growth potential.
