The Client is located at Brookley Aeroplex in Mobile, Alabama, and Pensacola, FL, at the Pensacola International Airport. We are a renowned provider of aircraft maintenance and modification (AMM) services for commercial airlines and air freight operators. We meet our customers' requirements by providing a full spectrum of high-quality, reliable, and timely AMM and engineering solutions. We have the know-how and experience to comprehensively manage complex projects, ensuring our customers' aircraft operate safely and efficiently. SUMMARY: The Program Manager shall be responsible to the Director of Maintenance for the overall operation of the aircraft maintenance department. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Good working knowledge or the ability to acquire skills in the following: The ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, by presenting ideas and giving instructions/guidance to subordinates, co-workers, supervisors and outside agencies in a manner that instructions are carried out and requested information is obtained; ability to motivate and lead a staff or team of subordinates to obtain goals, higher productivity and quality work; the ability to delegate and prioritized work effectively; creative; persuasive. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: SUPERVISION: The incumbent normally performs the duty assignment at his or her discretion and is limited only by policies set by administrative or legislative authority. Total end results determine the effectiveness of job performance. INTERPERSONAL RELATIONS: A strong level of interpersonal skills is required to maintain an effective relationship among employees, various departments, management and the public. PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT: Essential responsibilities are performed in a climate-controlled office but not limited to the office. Must be able to cope with stress and mental exhaustion due to the pressures of accomplishing set goals, meeting short deadlines, maintaining numerous projects simultaneously, employee confrontations and long work hours. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Associate degree or equivalent in training, education, and/or experience. CERTIFICATION: Airframe and Power plant license. EXPERIENCE: 10 years in commercial maintenance, 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
