AR-1 Intern

ZGF is seeking an AR-1 Intern to join our team in our Portland office. We are looking for creative, motivated, and curious individuals with a passion for design and the built environment. This internship is intended for students currently enrolled in high school and is designed as a developmental and supportive role for the Portland design and administrative teams.As an AR-1 Intern, you will…Be part of a community focused on design excellence and innovationCollaborate with ZGF teams to generate and develop ideasPerform miscellaneous office duties, organize the material library, prepare presentation materials, and potentially visit job sitesAssist with elemental architectural assignments and work collaboratively with others toward solutionsHelp tell the story of our projects through various forms of mediaWork under the direction of experienced professionals and receive specific, detailed guidance regarding tasks and expected outcomes.Support projects and initiatives by contributing to team-based solutionsQualificationsCreative curiosity and a willingness to learnAn interest in design, the design industry, and/or graphic storytellingA desire to collaborate with and learn from othersStrong organizational skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Outlook, Word, and ExcelCurrent enrollment in a high school programBase Salary Range$16.80/hrApply With: Cover letter Resume We know that great projects take more than a design team to become a reality.
