About HPF: Houston Precision Fasteners produces high strength, fatigue rated, close tolerance fasteners using materials such as carbon steel, alloy steel, nickel alloy, titanium, waspaloy, A-286, monel and multiphase. Our fasteners have supported mission aircrafts such as; Joint Strike Fighters, F/A 18 Super Hornet, and Falcon 9; just to name a few. We are dedicated to providing a superior product to our customers. Job purpose:  Plan, direct, and coordinate HPF shipping and receiving activities. Work with production team to manage product while working with other S&R personnel, logistics systems, processes and daily operations. Manage HPF day to day safety issues and programs. Work mostly independently.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:·       Research and arrange all packing per customer specifications for delivery or distribution of parts to expedite flow of materials to meet production schedules·       Check receivables to ensure that orders have been filled correctly and that materials meet specifications·       Evaluate information to determine compliance with standards, regulations and laws·       Maintain monthly shelf life for all department to be audit ready at all times·       Maintain Inventory Controls for shop supplies and ensure min / max levels are accurate in VET·       Inspect and operate forklifts and pallet jacks·       Work with other departments to ensure critical inventory is meeting shelf-life requirements·       Act as a backup for Inventory personnel to include duties such as; receiving raw material, release material per job specifications, PMI processes, allocate finish and black parts, and work with production as needed for job splits ·       May assist in other areas as neededProfessional Skills: ·       HS diploma or equivalent ·       3-5 years of related experience working in a face paced environment·       Advanced working knowledge with MS Office, Inventory processes and ERP Systems·       Experience with exotic metals desired·       Skilled in process and systems analysis and evaluation to determine how a process should work and how changes affect outcomes as well as identifying measures of performance and monitoring themPhysical Requirements and Working Condition: ·       Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for prolonged periods of time, climb steps, and ladders·       Must be able to work at heights utilizing fall protection equipment (man lifts, ladders, and stand)·       Must be able to lift up to 45lbs·       Subject to environmental conditions -protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes·       Subject to hazards to include a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals·       Subject to loud constant noise ·       Subject to atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilationEmployee Acknowledgement: The above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by HPF employees. It is not designed to contain or be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities, and qualifications required of associates assigned to this job.
