Join us as an Interventional Radiology Tech and experience the benefits and career growth that this world-class academic medical center has to offer – right in the heart of gorgeous Burlington, VT.JOB DESCRIPTION: The Interventional Radiology Technologist is one who is working in an advanced modality.They areresponsible forimaging and post processing of imaging for interventional radiology procedures. They circulate during procedures; scrub if needed andpossessin depthknowledge of IR inventory and equipment.CALL: One weekend (Friday evening-Monday morning) and 4 weekdays (Monday-Thursday) every12weeks. Setcallschedule.HOURS: Monday through Friday, 9AM-5:30PM.EDUCATION: Graduate from an accredited program of Radiologic Technology. ARRT isrequired. Must be licensed in the State of Vermont.Individualmust accumulate 200 exams as outlined by the ARRT and become licensed in the modality by passing the Vascular-Interventional (VI) Radiography certification exam within24 monthsof hire.Thisposition requires verification of your college transcript.EXPERIENCE: One year of clinical experiencepreferred.WHYUVM MEDICAL CENTER (UVMMC)?
