Position OverviewWe are seeking a .Net Programmer to support modernization initiatives focused on application development, data consolidation, and analytics enablement. This role will provide development support using .NET Core, SQL, and AWS cloud services to build scalable applications and support high-performance data processing.The ideal candidate will have strong foundational experience in software development, database management, cloud deployment, and enterprise application support.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, document, and maintain software applications using .NET Core and C#Follow software engineering best practices and coding standardsDesign, write, optimize, and debug SQL queries, stored procedures, and scriptsManage and support relational database operations and performanceAssist with application deployment and configuration in AWS environmentsSupport integration of disparate data sources and web services using standard API protocolsParticipate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Assist with requirements gathering, technical design, unit testing, and bug fixingCollaborate with senior developers and technical team members on application enhancementsImplement and support open-source libraries and frameworksMaintain version control and code repositories using GitSupport troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization effortsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field3–5 years of software development experienceStrong experience with .NET Core and C#Proficiency in SQL and relational database management systemsStrong understanding of database concepts and data managementExperience writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and scriptsFamiliarity with open-source libraries and frameworksUnderstanding of AWS core services including EC2, S3, and LambdaBasic understanding of cloud deployment and application hostingExperience working within SDLC methodologiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsGood communication and teamwork abilitiesPreferred QualificationsExperience with enterprise application developmentExperience with REST APIs and web service integrationsExperience with Agile or Scrum environmentsPreferred exp with State or Federal clientsExperience with Git-based version control workflowsExposure to cloud-native application developmentKnowledge of software testing methodologies
