We take pride in fostering a safe environment for all employees in our climate-controlled plants.Summary: The Digital Imaging Operator I is responsible for producing variable and static digital printed pieces on the Xerox iGen, HP Indigo, Autobond, UV lighting and Scodix Digital Press.Schedule: 1st shift, Sunday-Thursday, eight or more hours per day, five days per week based on business needs. Primary schedule will be 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, or similar. Training may occur at other times. This is an on-site position requiring the employee to be present physically.Salary Range: $19.00 To 20.00 HourlyCompensation Commensurate With Experience.At this time, we are not engaging with agencies or third-party recruiters. Thank you for your understanding.Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The FollowingLogin to batching system to view customer job assignments due dates and identify prioritiesExamine job orders to determine details such as: quantities to be printed, production run times, stock specifications, colors and color sequencesSetup assigned apparatus to specifications and run productMonitor machines, adjusting speed, temperature, ink flow and positions of products to ensure machine is maintaining the proper specificationsInspect and examine printed products for: print clarity, color accuracy, conformance to specifications and external defectsTroubleshoot apparatus problems, resolve if possible, notify Supervisor/ Plant managerMaintain proper machine maintenance and lubricationComplete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstation are in good working order and is free of safety hazardsReport any and all workplace hazards to management immediatelyWear all assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when requiredReport all work related injuries, illnesses, and/or near misses to management immediatelyFollow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulationsMaintain departmental housekeeping standards, such as keeping floors swept and absent of debris that may be a work hazardProvide thorough training to employees including but not limited to new hires, transfers, and newly promoted employees as neededEnsure completion of assignments by meeting quality/quantity specifications and requirementsComplete and process all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.Regularly perform general housekeeping duties in your work area(s)Adhere to all safety policies and protocols and maintain a safe working environmentAttend all department/company meetingsOther duties as assignedFor an extensive list of responsibilities, duties and physical demands/work environment please refer to the attached Job Description.Experience And QualificationsEDUCATION, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES:Xerox iGen Operator certifiedSix months - one (1) year of experience operating and troubleshooting an HP Indigo machineProficient computer knowledgeCritical Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities RequirementsBasic math skills, ability to perform mathematical functions of addition, subtraction, multiplication and divisionEffectively communicate orally and written with all members of the internal organization as well as external customersAbility to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as requiredQuality orientedReading comprehension in relation to job ticket assignment and customer instructional specificationsDetail-oriented and organized work ethic including efficient time management skills, with proven track record of completion of tasks/assignmentsAbility to adapt to a changing environment4over Company History4over was founded in February of 2001.
