SWD Operator

Position Summary: This position will be responsible for maintaining records for daily reports, performance maintenance on pumps and other equipment with minimal or no supervision. Responsibilities : Cleaning out SWD filter baskets on the pumps and offload locations Provide excellent customer service while interacting with truck drivers. Checking loads to ensure fluid is acceptable for disposal. Proactively monitoring water levels at site to ensure tanks are within their operating parameters. Daily inspection of equipment and facility operating functions Perform necessary preventive and corrective maintenance. Monitoring and account for skim oil volumes removed from facility. Tracking pump pressures Coordinate with trucking companies on delivery of saltwater. Monitoring drivers for proper procedures and the use of personal protection equipment Maintaining a clean and safe environment at all times Ensure compliance with HSE policies and saltwater disposal requirements. Reporting safety and environmental issues to management Competencies: Computer knowledge - Proficient utilizing MS Windows environment Strong initiative and self-starter Ability to keep neat and accurate records. Multi-task orientation with skills related to work prioritization. Excellent Interpersonal Communications skills in a team environment General mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Ability to identify operational inefficiencies. Understanding of Business fundamentals Ability to implement cost effective solutions. Technical Skills related to math and analytical thinking. Understanding of Importance of environmental and Safe Work Practices Requirements: 1-3 years of Salt-Water Disposal Operator experience or Maintenance Roustabout/Pusher experience specific to Centrifugal, triplex and H Pumps etc. Must be knowledgeable with O&G Production Operations High school diploma or GED equivalent Strong working knowledge of PD pumps, Quinniplex pumps, H pumps, & Centrifugal pumps and working oil Good written and verbal communication skills Basic computer skills (familiarity with Microsoft Excel) and simple mathematical calculations Valid driver's license and clean record Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including: background, drug, hair follicle, MVR, agility and fit for duty Why work for Danos?
