Website & Social Media Coordinator

Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced candidate to keep our marina's inventory updated on our website, and help in the creation of content for our social media outlets. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our website and ensuring its updated to reach optimal performance in search engines. The ideal candidate will have a social media presence and a digital marketing mindset. They will be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in web management and social media to help drive sales of boats to our dealership. Website Managing Duties: Align the website with the organization's brand, strategy and standards Audit content and remove duplicate information Assist with social media campaigns and other marketing efforts Create strategies to improve website traffic Develop website content to support organizational goals and strategies Evaluate competitors' websites Follow industry best practices Identify ways to improve website user experience Unwrap new boats and take photos to upload to website Social Media Content Creator: Create various forms of social media content—text captions, videos, and images—suitable for the various social media platforms, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that every piece of content is relevant and helps the company maximize engagement, reach, and sales Requirements - Ability to tow/back up boats (up to 28') into photo booth with marina truck. - Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as digital marketing or computer science. - Experience working with websites, and knowledge of digital marketing may also be helpful. - Deep knowledge of social media trends, hashtags, and engagement strategy - Excellent research and analytical skills. - Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. - Strong communication and project management skills. - Ability to turn a concept into compelling content - Ability to incorporate our brand voice and identity in digital content - Extensive knowledge of the popular social media platforms Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00 - $23.50 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Work Location: In person
