A movement for better thinking, smarter solutions and lasting impact.Together, we will advance our way of life and protect the integrity of our environment every step of the way.A Day in the LifeThe compensation range for this role is $55K to $65K, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.To thrive in this role, you’ll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities:Work effectively, both independently and collaboratively, with peers, seniors, and our clients to build and strengthen relationshipsBe present and engaged in team and client meetings, and share ideasConduct environmental investigation and remediation field workAssist with research and data collection efforts as requested by project managersPrepare environmental guidance documents, permit applications, compliance plans, technical reports, and other resources for clientsBe knowledgeable of regulatory standards in environmental technical areas of responsibilityMaintain confidentiality at all times, both within Onterris and for our clients and affiliatesParticipate in emergency response services (including 24/7 on-call rotation)Exercise safe work practices by following all Company safety rules and OSHA regulations, including completion of all required safety training programs.Participate in the company’s continuous improvement programs and provide support to team efforts.Keep up-to-date and current on industry trends by completing formal training, reviewing professional publications, reviewing State and Federal regulations, and attending professional workshops.Perform other duties as assigned.Your Expertise And SkillsThese requirements reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities that help you do your best work here.Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental or Geological Sciences from an accredited four-year college or university, or equivalent environmental industry experienceMust have a valid driver’s license1-4 years of environmental consulting or management experienceStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to perform in-field physical activities (including lifting and carrying equipment).Strong time management skills and ability to meet multiple project deadlinesOrganizational skills and attention to detailStrong competence with Excel, Word, Power Point, Adobe PDF, Google Earth, Outlook and the ability to learn proprietary analytical systemsBasic understanding of state and federal environmental regulations preferredPrior environmental consulting experience with commercial, industrial and/or government clientele is a plus40-Hr OSHA HAZWOPER training a plusCAD/GIS mapping experience a plusTechnical report writing experience a plus#INDONTOnterris is a leading global environmental solutions company partnering with organizations to solve complex challenges where environmental pressures, regulatory expectations and operational risks intersect.
