Talent Lead (Nonprofit)Pay Rate: $25-$35 per hour (DOE)Employment Type: ContractLocation: On-siteDepartment: Human ResourcesWe are seeking a Talent Lead to support recruiting efforts for a mission-driven nonprofit organization. This is a contract position with the potential to convert to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.In this role, you will partner closely with hiring managers to attract, screen, and hire qualified candidates while delivering a positive, equitable, and inclusive candidate experience.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport full-cycle recruitment for professional, exempt, and non-exempt rolesSource candidates through job boards, referrals, networking, and targeted outreachScreen resumes and conduct phone interviewsCoordinate interviews and communicate effectively with candidates and hiring managersDraft and post job descriptions and manage requisitionsMaintain accurate and confidential candidate data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)Ensure compliance with EEO guidelines and fair hiring practicesTrack recruiting activity and assist with hiring metrics and reportingSupport onboarding coordination and pre-employment requirementsQualifications3+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experienceDemonstrated experience supporting full-cycle recruitmentStrong communication, organizational, and follow-up skillsExperience working with ATS platforms (UltiPro preferred)Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsNonprofit or healthcare recruiting experienceKnowledge of DC, state, and federal employment lawsDemonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusionWhy This OpportunityCompetitive hourly pay based on experienceImmediate startMeaningful work supporting a nonprofit mission
