Job DescriptionErgonomics Engineer – Manufacturing & Industrial EngineeringOverview / SummaryWe are seeking an Ergonomics Engineer to support manufacturing and industrial engineering activities, including ergonomic analysis, workstation assessments, capacity analysis, and process improvement initiatives to work onsite with the team in Dearborn, MI. This role will work cross-functionally with engineering, safety, and manufacturing teams to evaluate ergonomic risks and support the implementation of effective ergonomic solutions within manufacturing environments.This is a hybrid position requiring onsite support at engineering and manufacturing locations, along with occasional visits to supplier facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport industrial engineering activities including study responses, capacity strategy analysis, and time studiesPerform ergonomic assessments for manufacturing assembly workstations and processesInterpret and implement ergonomic standards and procedures for manufacturing programsComplete ergonomic evaluations using digital human modeling toolsDocument ergonomic assessments and related deliverablesCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Safety, Product Design, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Manufacturing teamsEvaluate ergonomic risks associated with work cells, tooling, racks, and manufacturing processesAssist in developing ergonomic solutions and process improvementsUtilize tools such as Siemens Teamcenter, Process Simulate, JACK software, Ergo Web, and other approved assessment toolsSupport ergonomic benchmarking, continuous improvement initiatives, and workplace safety enhancementsParticipate in ergonomic standards development and team meetingsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Kinesiology, or equivalentMinimum 3 years of experience in ergonomicsMinimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience with ergonomic analysis and industrial engineeringStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong computer skillsExperience working in a team-based environmentExperience analyzing ergonomic risk using advanced digital human modeling toolsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Teamcenter, Process Simulate, JACK software, and Ergo WebAbility to adapt to a dynamic work environmentExperience working in both engineering and plant/manufacturing environmentsAbility to identify ergonomic issues and collaborate on effective solutionsExperience working in virtual environments using digital human modeling toolsFlexibility with work schedules and travel requirements#Hiring #NowHiring #ErgonomicsEngineerWhat Makes HTC A Great Place To Build Your FutureHTC Global Services wants you to join our team.
