The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering teams to improve code consistency, scalability, maintainability, and production readiness across shared platforms and distributed systems.The position requires strong experience leading code reviews, defining engineering standards, implementing governance processes, and supporting scalable integrations with internal and third-party systems. The candidate should also be comfortable contributing technically when necessary while helping drive best practices across teams and ensuring high engineering quality standards.This is a highly technical leadership-oriented role focused on engineering excellence, code governance, and scalable system integration. The ideal candidate should have experience working within large engineering environments and influencing technical standards across teams. Strong communication skills are important due to cross-functional collaboration requirements. The role includes a light amount of QA testing as part of validating production readiness and code quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Lead and participate in high-level code reviews across multiple engineering teams.Define and maintain coding standards, reusable frameworks, and engineering best practices.Evaluate complex codebases to identify risks, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities.Support large-scale integrations across internal platforms and third-party systems.Ensure scalability, reliability, maintainability, and production readiness of solutions.Implement governance processes, review gates, and automated quality validations.Collaborate with engineering teams to improve overall code quality and system stability.Promote best practices around observability, logging, error handling, and security standards.Support CI/CD processes including linting, automated testing, and security scanning.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams when needed.Required Skills & Experience:Strong experience reviewing and evaluating large-scale codebases.Deep understanding of API architecture and integration patterns.Experience defining and enforcing coding standards and engineering best practices.Strong knowledge of distributed systems reliability and failure handling.Experience implementing CI/CD quality gates and automated validation processes.Understanding of scalability, maintainability, and system stability considerations.Ability to identify technical risks and improvement opportunities across teams.Experience with observability, logging, security scanning, and test coverage strategies.Practical hands-on coding experience.Strong technical leadership and cross-team collaboration skills.Work Environment:Large-scale engineering environment with cross-functional collaboration requirements.Opportunity to influence technical standards and drive engineering excellence across teams.
