Job DescriptionHousekeeper (Per Diem)Pay: From $18.00/hourSchedule: Per Diem (as needed)Job SummaryThe Cedars is hiring a Per Diem Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards throughout resident rooms and common areas. This role is responsible for ensuring a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors in a healthcare/residential setting.ResponsibilitiesClean, sanitize, and disinfect resident rooms and common areasFollow established cleaning procedures, infection control standards, and safety guidelinesMaintain cleanliness of bathrooms, hallways, dining areas, and shared spacesRemove trash, replace linens, and restock supplies as neededRespond to assigned cleaning tasks in a timely and efficient mannerEnsure compliance with facility cleanliness and safety standardsReport maintenance or safety concerns as neededRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent1–2 years of housekeeping, janitorial, or environmental services experience preferredKnowledge of cleaning and sanitation proceduresStrong attention to detailAbility to follow instructions and safety protocolsStrong communication skills; ability to read and write in EnglishReliable, punctual, and professional work ethicPreferred SkillsHealthcare housekeeping or long-term care facility experienceCustomer service experience in a resident-facing environmentExperience with cleaning chemicals and safety practicesBenefits401(k) retirement planPaid time off (PTO)Equal Opportunity Employer (JHA Management)
