About the Opportunity:The Senior Analytics Engineer role is designed to leverage engineering expertise and statistical knowledge to develop and enhance an end-to-end digital thread across aerospace products. This position is critical in transforming complex engineering and operational data into actionable insights that influence product and service improvements. The role requires strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership in advancing data-driven decision-making.3. Responsibilities:• Develop understanding of core electrical and mechanical system principles• Conduct data analysis using Python to support business decisions• Apply statistical methods to evaluate data quality• Assist engineering teams with root cause analysis• Promote use of semantic models and ontologies• Design and build Python-based analytical models• Automate data workflows including processing, analysis, and formatting• Clean, structure, and analyze datasets• Organize data and implement standardized labeling in AWS S3• Deploy machine learning algorithms on diverse data sets4. Requirements:• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with minimum 5 years relevant experience, or advanced degree with minimum 3 years experience• Background in Data Science, Statistics, or Engineering• Preferred skills include Python proficiency, aerospace or information systems experience, familiarity with graph databases and data ontologies• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Apache Spark)• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git• Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies5.
