RWE Americas, LLCTo start as soon as possible, full time, permanentFunctional area: Finance / ControllingRemuneration: Non-ExemptThe Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payment requests in SAP, ensuring vendors are paid according to agreed terms and company policies. This role supports month-end close activities, maintains accurate vendor account records, and collaborates with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve discrepancies and maintain strong working relationships. The position requires strong attention to detail, effective problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Role Responsibilities:Enter and verify invoices and payment requests into SAP within established time standardsPerform daily and weekly account reconciliations for utilities and autopay vendors to ensure all accounts arebalanced and cleanbalanced and cleanReview payment proposals to ensure all approved invoices are included in the payment run and work thepayment exception listReview weekly aging reports to ensure posted invoices are being paid timelySet up manual wires in the bank’s online system as neededCommunicate with vendors and internal customers on accounts payable discrepancies and issuesPerform month end close activities including AP accruals, resolving GR/IR issues, etcEnsure vendor banking is kept up to date in SAPJob Requirements and Experience:Associate in Accounting or business relatedMinimum 2 years similar experienceAbility to work within tight deadlinesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong interpersonal skills, with ability to manage customer relationshipsDemonstrated desire to learn about the Company and the renewables spaceExcellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and TeamsStrong leadership and communication, and ability to meet deadlinesStrong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverablesAbility to multi-task, while working independently and as part of a teamMotivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilitiesProven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgroundsResponds well to direction, is easy to challenge and develop, and is coachableIs detail-oriented, has strong business acumen, and a sound understanding of business conceptsThis position is an office-based role with some travel and visits to other RWE Americas offices and field locationsMust be able to sit, walk, or stand for long durations of timeApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations.
