Logistician
Overview:
Logistician (EDOS-2024-21440) :
Bowhead seeks a Logistician who analyzes, organizes, plans and administers various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities for one or more programs of moderate scope.
Responsibilities:
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
Analyzes contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements.
Develops logistics plans in order to enhance distribution of goods and supplies. Identifies, prioritizes, and assesses key logistics assets and infrastructures.
Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times.
Qualifications:
One to three (1-3) years combined experience in military logistics, procurement and Warehouse operations.
Demonstrated experience with Government procurements, maintaining database systems, and with military logistics operations.
Bachelors degree required
Experience in the following Government systems is preferred: IBPES PMT Share Point
Knowledge of DRMO process, General Equipment Inventory, warehouse processing (OM&S) – these are a bit Dahlgren specific and can be learned.
Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds
Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
