Regional Registered Behavior TechnicianReports To: Regional Branch ManagerShift: 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday through FridayStatus: ExemptJob Title: Regional Registered Behavior TechnicianAbout Applied Behavior Center for Autism:At the Applied Behavior Center for Autism, our mission is to provide individualized, evidence-based services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families.Position Overview:As the Regional Registered Behavior Technician, you will provide 1:1 ABA therapy to patients at locations, as needed. The Regional Registered Behavior Technician will communicate with the Director of Administration and Branch Managers to determine where they are needed daily / weekly. The Regional Registered Behavior Technician could be assigned to one of our centers, in order to start a new patient or to cover at a center when a fellow RBT is out sick or out on vacation. Occasionally, the Regional RBT will work at one center in the AM and a second center in the PM.Required Qualifications:4+ years of work experience as a Registered Behavior TechnicianCompensation:Pay Range: $52,584+ per year based on prior RBT experience.Benefits:3.% match 401k plan9 PTO days + 9 paid holidaysFull health, dental, and vision insuranceMileage reimbursementKey Responsibilities:Therapy & Intervention:Deliver individualized ABA therapy sessions, applying evidence-based interventions to support clients' development and behavior management.Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs as developed by the BCBA.Promote and reinforce adaptive behaviors and discourage maladaptive behaviors.Provide direct care, including working on tasks related to communication, socialization, academic skills, and daily living activities.Willing and able to travel to multiple centers on an as needed basisCollaboration:Work closely with the BCBA to discuss treatment progress and client needs.Participate in team meetings, providing input about the clients' progress, behavior, and development.Engage in regular communication with families to provide updates on client progress and reinforce strategies at home.Professional Development:Maintain RBT certification by completing ongoing training and education, as required by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).Actively participate in training and supervision sessions with the BCBA to ensure fidelity in the implementation of behavior intervention strategies.Preferred Qualifications:Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Physical Requirements:Ability to actively engage with children, including physical movement such as kneeling, standing, sitting on the floor, and lifting up to 50 pounds.Ability to remain patient and composed in challenging situations.Work Environment:The work environment is primarily within the Applied Behavior Center for Autism, which includes therapy rooms, classrooms, and common areas for client interactions.Traveling to multiple locations is required, including Indianapolis West/Southeast and Greenwood locations.If you are passionate about working with children and making a significant impact in the lives of families affected by autism, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position as a Regional Registered Behavior Technician at our Applied Behavior Center for Autism
