Location: Fully Onsite Compensation: $250,000 – $300,000 base salary + target bonus opportunity of 30%
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, growth-oriented President & Chief Executive Officer to lead a large regional construction company into its next phase of expansion and operational excellence. This executive will provide strategic leadership while remaining deeply engaged in the day-to-day performance of the organization. The ideal candidate is a proven builder of teams, culture, and business performance — someone who has progressively grown throughout their career and is ready to take on a significant leadership challenge.
This role requires a highly detail-oriented leader with exceptional communication skills, strong operational and financial acumen, and the ability to inspire confidence across employees, clients, partners, and stakeholders. The President & CEO will be expected to drive sustainable growth, strengthen operational efficiencies, and reinforce the company’s reputation for quality, safety, and client service.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute the company’s long-term vision, growth strategy, and operational objectives.
Identify opportunities for expansion, market diversification, and increased profitability.
Lead organizational planning initiatives that position the company for sustained regional growth.
Operational Excellence
Oversee all aspects of company operations including construction management, project execution, finance, business development, safety, and human resources.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.
Establish performance metrics and accountability standards across the organization.
Financial & Business Performance
Drive financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability initiatives.
Partner with executive leadership to evaluate operational efficiencies and cost controls.
Maintain strong oversight of risk management, compliance, and contractual obligations.
Leadership & Culture
Build, mentor, and develop high-performing leadership teams.
Foster a culture centered on accountability, collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement.
Lead by example with professionalism, integrity, and strong executive presence.
Client & Industry Relations
Strengthen relationships with clients, subcontractors, industry partners, and community stakeholders.
Represent the company in industry organizations, networking events, and strategic business opportunities.
Support business development efforts and key client pursuits.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; advanced degree is a plus.
Minimum 15+ years of progressive leadership experience within the construction industry.
Demonstrated history of career growth and increasing operational responsibility.
Proven success leading large-scale construction operations and driving organizational growth.
Strong financial, operational, and strategic planning capabilities.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Highly detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Experience managing multi-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Executive-level leadership presence with the ability to motivate and unify teams.
