Tekchix is seeking Entry-Level IT Deployment/Field Technicians for an on-site contract position in Greater New Orleans, Lafayette, and Shreveport. This role involves supporting IT deployment projects, including hardware and software installations, imaging, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical aptitude and excellent customer service skills, as they will interact with end-users throughout the deployment process. Install and configure operating systems, applications, and network settings per client standards. Assist with imaging and re-imaging of devices. Ensure proper asset tagging and maintain accurate deployment documentation. Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues during deployment. Provide friendly, professional support to end-users, ensuring a positive experience during setup and installation. Work closely with IT teams to meet project timelines and quality standards. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; IT-related coursework or certifications (CompTIA A+, etc.) preferred. Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking fundamentals. Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 50 lbs). Reliable transportation Strong customer service skills and a positive, approachable personality.
