Additional Information About The RoleShift: Wednesday thru Saturday 8 AM – 6 PMPurpose – To complete wellness checks on clients daily. To educate and prompt clients on independent living skills while residing in a clustered apartment.Types of Clients – Clients with mental health diagnoses and/or substance use disorders who desire to learn independent living skills to eventually live in their own apartments.Team dynamic – We are a small team committed to what we do and motivated to help clients. We are creative and have excellent communication with each other. We are great team players but are also responsible for our own work.Location – Giles Clustered Apartments- 4004 Giles Ave. St. Louis, MO 63116Idea Skill Set – Excellent communication, abilities to resolve conflicts, good listener, empathetic, pays attention to detail, teachable and non-judgmental, works well independentlyJob Responsibilities – Complete daily rounds, prompt clients to clean their apartment, take meds and take care of hygiene, participate in chores, remind clients of their doctors’ appointments, work with client and encourage them to reach their goals, advocate for clients; computer skills, effective communication skills, motivating/encouraging clients and teamworkTypical Day – Coordinate client care with team members at the beginning of shift. Complete daily rounds by checking in with clients at least once per day. Assist clients as needed and work with them on living skills.
