Position: Business Intelligence DeveloperLocation: HuntsvilleClearance: Active Clearance Required$10,000 signing bonusResponsibilitiesProvide business intelligence development support using business intelligence and data analysis experience and platforms such as Qlik Sense, Power BI, and TableauDevelop reports, dashboards, and metrics from defined data sources such as APIs, SQL, network drives, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and TEAMSCreate data connections and publish user-created visualizations/dashboards to the Production environmentCreate and management of QVD files, data transformations using ETL and managing complex data modelsProvide QLIK user and account administrator supportEstablish and maintain account security rules and access control rights to visualizations/dashboards, data connections, data files, and system objects for users and developersDevelop solutions using DoD365 Power Platform tools including Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BIProvide technical guidance to end users and developers regarding how to best utilize and develop data visualizations based on best practices, to meetcustomerstrategies and goalsDisseminateupdates and broadcasts to the supported directorate regarding relevant topics such as, but not limited to training dates, newly available training materials, system outages and performance issues, and new software capabilitiesEnsure compliance with governance policies, information architecture and other organizational policiesAll other dutiesas assignedRequirementsApplicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information4 + years of experience developing solutions based onbusiness intelligence platforms such as Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau and/or similar toolsExperience leveraging Microsoft technologies, such as ASP.NET, C#, SharePoint, or SQL Servers to improve business processes and practices (e.g. views, stored procedures, normalization, etc.)Prefer experience with DAX, Excel, JSON, jQuery, AJAX, XSLT, JSONPrefer experience with current AI tools and technologies; Palantir Foundry and Python development knowledge a plusMust have a high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully collaborate with team membersBS in Management Information Systems (MIS) or Computer Science preferredRelevant CertificationCompTIA Security+(Preferred)Qlik Sense Business Analyst Certification(Required)Microsoft Certified Power BI Data Analyst AssociatePL-300(Preferred)Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals PL-900 (Preferred)Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals DP-900(Preferred)NMR Consulting is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
