Patient Access Representative Serves as patient facing support for the Patient Access Department within Piedmont Healthcare. Ensures patient accounts are complete with valid insurance coverage and current demographic/clinical data. Calculates patient financial responsibility, presents patient financial options/requirements and processes patient payments. Secures patient consent and acknowledgement on required forms/notices.Qualifications Education:H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) RequiredWork Experience:1 year exp in one of the following: RequiredHealthcare Revenue Cycle Required orClinical role Required orRelated clerical accounting/finance/retail Required or3 years of healthcare Revenue Cycle experience PreferredPrior Epic experience PreferredLicenses and Certifications:None RequiredCertification with Healthcare Financial Management Association Preferred orCertified Revenue Cycle Representative PreferredBusiness Unit: Piedmont Healthcare Corporate
