E-Mobility Program Coordinator – DMVLocation: Washington, D.C, or VirginiaHybrid – Full Time$50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per yearJOB DESCRIPTIONThe electrification sector is experiencing unprecedented growth with the acceleration of multimodal zero emissions transportation. Innovations with clean transportation is revolutionizing urban mobility space. Our automotive / e-mobility company centers on accelerating the equitable transition to zero-emission electric, connected, autonomous, and shared vehicles. Our organization is looking to add an energetic, experienced Project Lead to assist us in continuing to lead the e-mobility space and special projects in the southeast and across the country.This is a full-time hybrid position based in the Mid-Atlantic with travel to attend external facing client, partner and company events. The person that fills this role will have the opportunity to provide their expertise across the multimodal e-mobility sector. The ideal candidate will have emobility experience, formal experience managing long-term programs and strategies, thriving in entrepreneurial environments, posess strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills, and the ability to build strong teams and be customer-focused. Confidentiality and discretion are also key attributes and are required for this position.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES– Assist in managing the execution of contracts, projects, and programs– Coordinate the development and implementation of various e-mobility programs and campaign plans across the southeast. – Experience working at the municipal, city or state level on electrification ordinances, infrastructure deployment, medium heavy duty electrification or fleet electrification– Represent EVHN/EVN at coalition tables, conferences and in meetings with policymakers and partners, and advocating for EVHybridNoire’s priorities– Support a variety of initiatives and programs within the e-mobility space across the country.– Assist regional program managers in their current projects and acquire project resources required for different programs and projects both internally and externally.– Communicate with stakeholders and program managers to ensure alignment around the company’s and clients project goals.– Maintain progress on projects by motivating team members, addressing pain points, and leading quality assurance– Strong writing skills displayed by ability to draft mobility white papers/articles and thought leadership pieces– Assist in gathering various data such as project cost and risk management strategies – Help to facilitate public outreach efforts, including focus groups and listening sessions with target audiences to understand public awareness and attitudes around e-mobility– Liaise with the research and data team to prepare for and to faciltiate qualitative and quantitative research including focus groups, interivews and surveys– Work with our team, as well as with our partners and decision-maker contacts, to develop policy proposals that advance EVHybridNoire’s priorities– Build and nurture working relationships with decision-makers, advocacy partners and opinion leaders in the e-mobility space– Ability and willingness to travel – travel is required to attend client meetings, conferences, build relationships with partners, facilitate trainings/presentations and/or execute events– Proficient at creating and giving oral presentations on topics across the e-mobility sectorKEY RELATIONSHIPS– EVNoire / EVHybridNoire Regional Managers & and Research Team– EVNoire/EVHybridNoire Communications Team– EVNoire/EVHybridNoire Clients and Partners– External facing partners – state, regional and national partnersREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSSkills and Abilities– 3 to 4 years of experience of related experience in transportation/mobility or a similar field– A bachelor’s degree, masters (preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience – Strong experience in writing, copy editing, and proofreading-Project management experience, budget planning, and management skills are essential – Excellent communicator who is comfortable managing multiple tasks in a remote environment– Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with sometimes rapidly changing priorities – Team player who possesses a problem-solving aptitude– Fluency in both Spanish and English is a plusDESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE– Program implementation and management experience– Experience working on a collaborative program team– Familiarity with e-mobility best practices, clean transportation– Experience working with underserved populations/communities– Knowledge of transportation electrification broadly, and some understanding of how e-mobility intersects with issues of equity, diversity and inclusionBENEFITS AND COMPENSATIONWe provide our team members a competitive salary commensurate with experience and industry norms.
