Our Cities & Places team is seeking an Associate Project Architect to help deliver innovative, sustainable, and human-centered design solutions that shape communities and improve the way people live, work, and connect. As we continue to expand our architectural practice in the Boston market, we're looking for a design-focused, technically minded architect ready to grow and make an impact.As an Associate Project Architect, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support the planning, design, and documentation of complex projects across civic, transportation, higher education, federal, life science and commercial markets. You'll contribute to the development of architectural concepts, coordinate with engineering partners, and help advance projects through all phases-from early visioning through construction administration. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team where your creativity, technical expertise, and passion for design excellence will be valued and developed.What You'll DoSupport architectural design and documentation efforts across all project phases, including conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction documents.Assist with the preparation of drawings, models, renderings, and other project deliverables using Revit and other design software.Solve complex problems in collaboration with team leaders, may lead project steps within a broader projectCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams-including engineering, planning, and interiors-to ensure coordinated, integrated design solutions.Participate in client meetings, presentations, and design workshops as needed.Assist in developing design narratives, specifications, and technical reports.Conduct product research and support material/finish selections.Review shop drawings, RFIs, and construction submittals during the construction administration phase.Help maintain quality standards and support the execution of project goals, schedules, and deliverables.Contribute to a culture of innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement within the architectural team.Here's what you'll needBachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited programRegistered Architect5+ years of post-graduate professional architectural experienceProficiency in Revit for architectural modeling and documentationKnowledge of building systems, codes, and architectural best practicesExcellent verbal and written communication skillIdeally, You'll Also HaveExperience in one or more Cities & Places market sectors (civic, health, transportation, higher education, federal, commercial, life science)Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Enscape, Rhino, or other visualization toolsInterest or experience in sustainable design and LEED, WELL, or similar rating systemsExperience working with large, complex, or multi-stakeholder projectsParticipation in a professional organizationPosted Salary Range: Minimum97,700.00Posted Salary Range: Upper134,400.00Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
