With operations spanning more than 35 countries, we've proudly been nourishing families for over 135 years.Del Monte Foods in Plover, Wisconsin is hiring Seasonal Warehouse Production Operators Grade 3 to support warehouse operations, shipping activities, forklift operations, product staging, trailer loading and unloading, inventory movement, and finished goods handling during pack season operations. Employees in these positions may operate forklifts, scan and stage inventory, move finished product, support shipping operations, and coordinate warehouse product flow throughout the facility.Schedules may include day or night shift assignments, overtime, weekends, and shifts up to 12 hours per day during peak production periods. Seasonal employment typically begins in June and may continue through October with opportunities for extended work through late November/early December based on operational needs and employee performance.Seasonal Warehouse Production Operator Grade 3 employees perform advanced warehouse, forklift, shipping, staging, scanning, inventory movement, and material handling duties in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Employees in these positions are responsible for supporting production flow, warehouse organization, shipping coordination, inventory accuracy, and safe product movement throughout warehouse and production areas.Employees may be assigned to various warehouse and shipping functions based on operational needs, certifications, qualifications, and seasonal demands. Work areas may include shipping driver operations, backstacker operations forklift and warehouse staging activities, trailer loading and unloading, product scanning and inventory movement, production line supply support, railcar and truck loading support, warehouse inventory organization, finished goods movement and storage, shipping and warehouse coordination activitiesKey Responsibilities for Warehouse Production Grade 3 RolesOperate forklifts and related warehouse equipment safely and efficientlyLoad, unload, stage, scan, and transport finished product, cans, pallets, or materials throughout the facilitySupply production lines with materials and remove finished product from production areasStack and organize product in designated warehouse locationsSupport shipping operations involving trucks, trailers, or railcarsScan product and inventory using scanning devices or warehouse systemsVerify product codes, tags, labels, and shipping information for accuracyComplete forklift inspection checklists and required operational documentationMonitor warehouse areas for safety, inventory accuracy, and operational flowMaintain clean and organized work areas, warehouse aisles, staging areas, and equipmentFollow GMP, food safety, forklift, shipping, and workplace safety requirementsCommunicate operational concerns, inventory issues, equipment problems, or safety hazards to leadershipAssist with cross-functional warehouse and production support activities as assignedTrainingOn-the-job training is provided for all assigned work areas.
