Rental Yard Technician

Frank's Supply Company is a major supplier of construction tools and equipment with our focus on both sales and rental. We are currently seeking a qualified RENTAL YARD TECHNICIAN for our Amarillo, TX Location. OBJECTIVE: This position assists the rental counter personnel in insuring customer satisfaction. RESPONSIBILITIES: Minor servicing and repair of rental equipmentPerform scheduled maintenance on equipmentProper instruction and operation of equipment to the customer including safety related issuesLoad and unload equipment listed on the contract for the customerRecord any damaged or missing equipment with hour meter reading and fuel amount when applicableKeep work area and yard clean and organizedAdhere to all governmental, company and equipment related safety requirementsQualified applicants will have:Mechanical aptitudeOwn your own toolsThe ability to consistently lift up to 50 poundsHave a valid driver's licenseGood reading and comprehension skillsGood customer service and communication skillSome rental experience preferredPunctualityEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER / VETERANS / DISABLED
