51-200About the RoleThe Company is seeking a Chief Academic Officer to play a pivotal role in its strategic development. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting and promoting the company's brand and intellectual property, overseeing the design and validation of learning frameworks, assessment models, and adaptive algorithms. This role involves mentoring and leading a team of specialists, developing strategies to enhance the impact of the company's measures, and leveraging AI technologies to advance the value of its solutions. The Chief Academic Officer will also be the chief spokesperson for the company's academic credibility, engaging in thought leadership, and collaborating with marketing and sales to position products effectively in academic and institutional markets.The ideal candidate will have a deep technical knowledge of psychometrics and current assessment trends in education, with a proven track record of leadership in research and product development. They should be passionate about the company's mission, possess a collaborative leadership style, and have a doctorate in a relevant field. Key skills include expertise in measurement, psychometrics, assessment validity/reliability, research design, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to a diverse range of stakeholders. Experience in the EdTech sector, as well as a background in working with state departments of education or large-scale assessment programs, is highly valued.
