Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Job DescriptionOn behalf of our reputable, and stable Energy Industry client; we are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their team. RESPONSIBILITIES: Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including how fluid drives and torque converters operate Understanding the principles of hydraulics and fluid mechanics as they pertain to fluid drives and torque converters Ability to disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble fluid drives and torque converters - including; machining parts, replacing worn components, and ensuring precise assembly Machinery maintenance, specifically with fluid drives and torque converters Meet or exceed original equipment manufacturer ( OEM) specification REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: 3-5 years of practical experience in automotive or industrial in a machine repair / build environment Must have experience with reading and interpreting mechanical drawings/prints in order to build and repair large parts Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues effectively and efficiently Precision in performing maintenance tasks to ensure reliability and safety Ability to clearly communicate issues, solutions and instructions to colleagues or customers Attention to detail Comfortable in a shop environment OTHER PERKS: Cost-sharing medical & dental benefits after 30 days 401K plan after 90 days MEDA offers an excellent referral bonus.
