This role is ideal for a technically strong engineer with a passion for governance, risk, and compliance, who can build secure, scalable systems using modern development and cloud-native architectures.🔹 Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and support GRC-focused solutions with an emphasis on security and complianceBuild and maintain APIs and microservices using modern architecturesDevelop backend services using Python and Node.jsWork with containerized environments leveraging Docker and KubernetesImplement and enforce security controls aligned with regulatory and compliance frameworksCollaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure compliance-by-designDesign and optimize database schemas and data access layersSupport audits, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives with technical inputs🔹 Required Skills & Qualifications6–8 years of experience as a GRC Engineer / Security Engineer / Platform EngineerStrong hands-on experience with Python and API developmentExperience with Node.js in enterprise environmentsSolid understanding of microservices architectureHands-on experience with Docker and KubernetesStrong database skills (SQL/NoSQL) and data modeling experienceWorking knowledge of GRC, security controls, and compliance frameworksExperience building secure, scalable, and high-availability systemsStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills🔹 Nice to HaveExperience integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelinesFamiliarity with cloud platforms and zero-trust architecturesExposure to regulatory standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, or similar
