IT Support Specialist
Guild Associates, Inc. is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our team in our Dublin office. The specialist will participate in Guild’s IT support efforts including cybersecurity, client and server infrastructure, networking, software applications, data, and user accounts. This specialist also will function as the first point of contact for supporting the technical needs of the business and its employees.The ideal candidate will have excellent time-management and communication skills which will enable him/her to collaborate well with various employees and leaders within the company. The IT Support Specialist will share ownership of all technical issues with other department members.ResponsibilitiesPrioritize and respond to tickets, emails, calls, and messages, providing fast follow-upTroubleshoot and solve everyday technology problemsManagement of software applicationsInform and train employees regarding technology in use at GuildReport on the status of tickets and projects to the IT managerInventory management, knowledge base managementOther assigned responsibilities as neededRequired QualificationsProactive and positive mindsetEffective communication and customer service skillsBroad understanding of the Microsoft 365 application suiteSignificant experience with software application management (Install, Update, Uninstall, etc.)Familiar with peripherals including printers, scanners, USB devices/hubs, A/V equipment, etcPreferred QualificationsMinimum Associate Degree in Information Technology, or related degreeCompTIA A+, Network +, and Security +Minimum 6 months technical experience, which can include home lab work and internshipsFamiliarity with ticketing software and asset inventoryExcellent Troubleshooting skillsAttention to DetailDesire to learnAdditional InformationOccasional Overtime RequiredOccasional travel between buildings within 20-mile radiusGuild Associates is a company of diverse individuals.
