School-Age Program Support StaffIf you enjoy working with school-age children and want to be part of a team that supports each other, this could be a great fit!What You Will DoThis role helps support classrooms where help is needed most. During the summer, this position is full-time in our school-age program. During the school year, you will support before and after school care, and assist in other classrooms while school-age children are at school.Your responsibilities will include:Helping with classroom activities, games, projects, and daily routinesSupporting children during meals, transitions, outdoor play, and group activitiesSupervising children during before and after school careHelping with summer field tripsKeeping classrooms, buses, and activity areas clean, organized, and safeProviding positive guidance and support to childrenCommunicating with team members and families as neededDriving children to and from school or scheduled field trips as neededWhat We Need From You:We need team members who are reliable, flexible, and enjoy working with children.Available Monday through FridayWilling to help in other classroomsFull time availability to work within our hours of 6:00 am to 6:30 pm as scheduledWilling to support where neededShow up on time and stay for your full shiftComfortable being active throughout the day and lifting up to 50 poundsAt least 21 years oldValid driver's license/ Clean driving recordWilling to safely drive a large sized vehicle for preschool & school-age childrenQualificationsPatient, caring, and dependableEnjoys working with school-age childrenAble to stay organized and handle a busy environmentFood Handler PermitFirst Aid and CPR, or willing to get certifiedWilling to complete required child care trainingAt least 21 years of age or older with a clean driving recordPay and BenefitsStarting at $14 per hour with room to growPaid trainingFree meals during your shiftHealth insurance optionsProfessional development opportunitiesReferral programAbout UsA to Z Building Blocks is a child care and preschool program focused on creating a safe, structured, and supportive environment for children and families.
