Sneaker Authentication SpecialistLocation: On-site, WarehousePay: $19.00 – $21.00 per hourJob Type: Full-timeIMPORTANT – PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYINGThis is NOT an entry-level role.Hands-on sneaker authentication or footwear inspection experience is REQUIRED.Candidates who have not professionally inspected or authenticated sneakers (e.g. warehouse QC, resale platform, authentication service, or similar) should not apply.Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Sneaker Authentication Specialist to join our warehouse operations team. This role is responsible for professionally authenticating sneakers and ensuring all footwear processed through our warehouse meets brand, quality, and resale platform standards.You will perform hands-on physical inspections to identify counterfeit, damaged, or non-compliant footwear and document results accurately within our systems. This role plays a critical part in maintaining platform trust, operational accuracy, and customer satisfaction.This position is best suited for someone who has already done sneaker authentication or footwear quality inspection as part of their job, not someone looking to learn authentication from scratch.Key ResponsibilitiesAuthenticate sneakers across major brands including Nike, Jordan, adidas, Yeezy, New Balance, and othersPerform detailed physical inspections, including:Materials and constructionStitching, glue, shape, and symmetryLabels, size tags, box labels, and accessoriesSole patterns, smell, weight, and overall finishIdentify counterfeit, damaged, or non-compliant productsAccurately document authentication results in internal systemsFlag and escalate questionable or high-risk items for secondary reviewFollow and help maintain consistent authentication standards and SOPsWork closely with warehouse operations and QC teams to ensure accuracy and efficiencyMaintain high inspection accuracy while meeting daily processing targetsAssist with improving and documenting sneaker authentication SOPsSupport training and guidance for junior or supporting staff when neededQualifications – REQUIREDHands-on, professional experience in sneaker authentication or footwear quality inspectionProven ability to identify counterfeit sneakers through physical inspection (not theory or online research)Experience working with resale, authentication, or QC standards (e.g. StockX, GOAT, or similar platforms)Strong attention to detail and consistency in high-volume environmentsAbility to follow SOPs and make clear, accurate inspection judgmentsBasic computer skills for data entry and system documentationAbility to work in a fast-paced, warehouse-based environmentAbility to stand for extended periods and handle footwear inventory throughout the shiftApplicants without prior sneaker authentication or footwear inspection experience will not be considered.Preferred (Not Required)Experience working in warehouse QC or resale operationsFamiliarity with common counterfeit indicators across multiple sneaker brandsExperience handling escalations or secondary reviewsBilingual in English and Chinese is a plus, but not requiredWork EnvironmentOn-site warehouse roleStanding, inspecting, and handling footwear throughout the shiftDetail-critical, accuracy-driven operational environmentCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay based on experience ($19–$21/hr)Stable, full-time employmentClear processes and structured standardsOpportunity to grow within a fast-growing sneaker operations teamWhy Join UsBe part of a specialized sneaker authentication and fulfillment operationDirect impact on product quality, platform trust, and customer experienceClear expectations, defined standards, and room for advancementWork with a team that values accuracy, consistency, and professionalism
