Mechanical Cable Assembler

Are you detail-oriented and passionate about hands-on work with electronics? We're looking for a motivated *Cable Assembler* to join our team on a contract basis. This is a great opportunity to work on smart instrumentation systems and power control applications in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. *What You’ll Do:* * Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials. * Accurately assemble equipment and products following written instructions and procedures. * Cut, strip, and tin individual wires to specified lengths. * Install electronic components (pins, sockets, lugs, terminals, connector housings) on wires, cable assemblies, and wire harnesses. * Perform wire crimps/terminations to raw wire and cable per manufacturer specs and customer requirements. * Maintain high workmanship standards and contribute to quality documentation. *What We’re Looking For:* * Experience in mechanical assembly of wire, cable, and/or harnesses. * Ability to read and follow directions with strong attention to detail. * Good decision-making and comprehension skills. * Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. * Familiarity with IPC/610 and/or IPC/620 Workmanship Standards and ISO 9001:2015 is a plus. * Willingness to learn and receive training as needed. Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
