Lead Teacher

LEAD TEACHERAPPLETON EARLY LEARNING CENTERATLANTA, GEORGIAAppleton Early Learning Center, located in Southwest Atlanta, currently seeks an enthusiastic Full-Time LEAD/CO-Teacher for our Toddler II Class.  Candidates must also be willing to work with children ages 12 months to 5 years. Successful candidates will have the following skills and experience:Possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential Early Learning Diploma is required.Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple situations effectively.2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred).Lead Teacher experience in a Toddler II class (preferred).Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or have willingness to obtain.CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.Lift a minimum of 25 pounds, and work indoors and outdoors.Be able to make physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English.Candidates must be available to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Consistent attendance is essential to this position. The annualized rate of pay is $31,200-$33,280.
