e&e is seeking a Full Stack Python Engineer for an onsite contract opportunity in Harrisburg, PA!We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Python Engineer with expertise in OCR, Computer Vision, and cloud-based application development to build and scale production systems for image processing, OCR workflows, and API-driven applications. This role will focus on developing Python/FastAPI backend services, distributed cloud solutions, and React-based frontend applications in a modern containerized environment.Responsibilities:Design and maintain OCR and image-processing workflows from ingestion to output. Develop scalable backend services and REST APIs using Python/FastAPI. Build and support cloud-native, message-driven architectures using Azure, AKS/Kubernetes, and Service Bus. Create and maintain responsive frontend applications using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Manage database design, optimization, and storage solutions using PostgreSQL/SQL. Support CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and system reliability improvements. Participate in architecture reviews, code quality initiatives, and mentor junior engineers.Requirements:Experience in Python development and production systems. Strong experience with FastAPI, REST APIs, and backend architecture. Experience in OCR, Computer Vision, or image-processing technologies. Hands-on experience with React, JavaScript, HTML/CSS. Experience with Azure cloud, Kubernetes/AKS, containerization, and Linux environments. Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL optimization, and secure API design. Experience with AI/ML pipelines or computer vision frameworks (PyTorch, ONNX) is a plus.
