This includes loading and unloading event trucks, cleaning and consolidating returned equipment, and helping with equipment sanitation.Key Accountabilities: Assist with full-service event preparation, participate in the daily catering operations, and maintain proper working conditions in the warehouse.Job Duties: Participate in the preparation and packing of event equipment, including flip sheet items and outsourced third-party equipment (e.g., rentals and linens). Complete opening and closing checklist duties as assigned. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse; ensure proper sanitation practices for returning large and small equipment. Assist with post-event breakdown, including the reuse, restocking, and return of equipment and consumables. Operate the dish machine as needed to ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of small event equipment. Support food deliveries as required, including during evenings and weekends. Help maintain parking lot cleanliness and assist with snow removal when necessary. Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Supervisor.Performance Standards: Activities must be performed with direct supervision to maintain quality and consistency. Must be able to multitask. Ability to work well with internal and external participants is essential. Must communicate clearly and effectively with staff, managers, and clients.Position Requirements - JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Experience: Two years in a warehouse/maintenance environment is preferred. The skills required: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Basic knowledge of sanitation and food safety practices. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Flexible availability, including nights and weekends. Forklift certification or experience (preferred but not required). Valid driver's license (preferred for delivery assistance). Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately. Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and operational excellence. Physical requirements: This job requires an incumbent to be able to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and frequently lift to 70 pounds. Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours). The employee may be regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Able to work in a fast-paced and hot environment with a noise level from moderate to high.
