Litigation Support ProfessionalPosition SummaryThe Litigation Support Professional provides operational, administrative, and technical support to attorneys and legal analysts. This role assists with case intake, calendaring, filing preparation,formatting, document management, and litigation support functions to ensure efficient casemanagement and department operations. The ideal candidate has a long-term interest in litigation support and paralegal work.Core ResponsibilitiesAdministrative & Operations SupportAssist with case intake and matter setupSupport conflict check processMaintain case and matter organizationCoordinate scheduling and calendaringAssist with travel coordination and logisticsMaintain trackers, templates, and workflow systemsLitigation SupportAssist with preparation of documents for filing in state and federal courtsSupport e-filing preparation and submission processesAssist with organization of case-related materials and workflowsCoordinate with vendors and internal support teamsCourt Filing & Docket SupportAssist with electronic filings through NYSCEF, PACER/ECF, and other court filing systemsSave and organize Notices of Electronic Filing (NEFs), confirmations, and filed documentsCoordinate with attorneys and paralegals regarding filing deadlines and submissionrequirementsTechnical & Document SupportFormat legal documents and apply firm stylesTroubleshoot basic formatting and technical document issuesAssist with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, NetDocs, and litigation support platformsHelp maintain templates, styles, and document formatting standardsDocument & Database ManagementMaintain organized electronic file structures and naming conventionsUpload and profile documents within document management systemsAssist with maintaining internal databases, trackers, and matter recordsEnsure documents are properly saved, labeled, and versionedTeam SupportAssist with department-wide administrative projectsHelp maintain internal procedures and resource materialsPreferred QualificationsExperience within law firm or in-house legal departmentCommitment to paralegal or litigation support experienceStrong organizational and administrative skillsExperience with Microsoft Office Suite, Google workspace and Adobe AcrobatFamiliarity with NYSCEF, PACER/ECF, or other e-filing systems preferredExperience with document management systems such as NetDocs preferredAbility to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced litigation environmentStrong attention to detail and communication skills
