Food Production Supervisor

Job DescriptionOur client is seeking aProduction Supervisor in Northern Illinois. This company has been in business for over 80 years, prides themselves on their strong company culture, and true commitment to promoting from within whenever possible.This is an opportunity to step into a hands-on leadership role working across multiple shifts in a highly automated, fast-paced facility. This plant works on a 2-2-3 schedule, so you only work 7 out of every 14 days. This is a relief role so it is an opportunity to make an impact facility wide.What you'll lead:Daily production operations, ensuring safety, GMP compliance, and product qualityChangeovers, line performance, and smooth shift transitionsDriving OEE, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiativesCoaching and developing production employeesPartnering with Quality, Maintenance, and Safety for peak performanceWhat We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in a Technical or Managerial field of expertise. (relevant experience may substitute for a degree).Minimum of 3 years of Supervisory experience in a related industry. Good overall knowledge of safety, sanitation, manufacturing operations, and quality.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to navigate basic software programsWell-developed conflict resolution skills.Attention to detail, self-motivated, good communicator with a high level of integrity.
