From personal pleasure crafts to the world’s finest mega yachts, we develop reverse osmosis systems to meet and exceed customer expectations.Job Summary: Process Improvement Specialist is tasked with analyzing, designing, and implementing enhanced manufacturing processes to boost efficiency and product quality. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of process improvements while maintaining compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. The Specialist will also be responsible for developing and updating SOPs, training staff, and continuously monitoring and refining processes to achieve optimal performance.Job Responsibilities:Conduct detailed process analyses to identify areas for improvement in manufacturing efficiency and product quality.Design, test, and implement new processes, equipment, and technologies to enhance production efficiency and quality.Develop, document, and maintain SOPs for new and existing manufacturing processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless implementation of process improvements.Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of new processes and make adjustments as necessary.Train production staff on new processes and SOPs.Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with industry standards and safety regulations.Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in manufacturing and process engineering.Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:  Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on process optimization.Technical Proficiency: Proficient in process simulation, lean manufacturing principles, and process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively train and guide staff.Technical Tools: Experience with Solidworks CAD software, ERP systems, and other relevant engineering tools.Required Experience:  Industry Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in process improvement or manufacturing engineering, preferably within the marine industry or a similar field.Six Sigma: Six Sigma certification is highly preferred, with demonstrated practical experience in applying Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements.Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices in manufacturing.Required Education:  Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience in Manufacturing. Physical Demands and Work Environment:The employee must be lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
