Fullstack Backend Developer (Python | FastAPI)

Job Title: Full Stack Backend Software Engineer Location: Pleasanton, CA Type: Contract / Full-Time (Specify as needed) Experience: 5–8 Years Overview: We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Backend Software Engineer with deep experience in Python (FastAPI), AWS, and ReactJS. This role requires a strong understanding of both backend service development and frontend collaboration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating scalable, secure, and efficient applications deployed on AWS, while working across teams to deliver seamless user experiences. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain backend services using Python and the FastAPI framework. Build and optimize RESTful APIs using FastAPI on AWS Lambda. Collaborate with frontend developers to create responsive UI components using ReactJS. Optimize both backend (Python/FastAPI) and frontend (ReactJS) performance. Design, deploy, and manage cloud-native applications on AWS. Create and manage data models and database schemas using MS SQL and PostgreSQL. Implement strong security protocols for sensitive financial data, including encryption and secure authentication/authorization mechanisms. Qualifications: Bachelor//'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5–8 years of experience in software development, particularly in full-stack and cloud technologies. Proficiency in Python, with extensive experience using FastAPI. Hands-on experience with ReactJS for frontend development. Strong knowledge of RESTful API development and integration. Proven ability to design and deploy applications on AWS (including Lambda). Experience working with relational databases like MS SQL and PostgreSQL. Strong analytical, communication, and team collaboration skills. Experience mentoring junior developers and working in Agile/Scrum environments.
