Among our customers are some of the top schools in the country. *About the Position* ARDE (ardekids.com) is looking to hire an after-school enrichment instructor with extensive dance experience with students in Kindergarten - Grade 5, who can start teaching with us immediately. This position is perfect for an educator who has extensive experience working with elementary and middle school students, enjoys working with kids, and enjoys watching young students thrive! Applicants for this position should have some availability during mid-afternoon teaching hours *(2 pm-5 pm)* a few times a week. This position is perfect for part-time teachers, substitutes, retired educators, education students, specialty instructors, etc. We will provide you with the curriculum for the class(es) but strongly encourage you to improve your student experience by enhancing the program with your teaching style and personality. *About ARDE Enrichment Classes* We are now actively hiring coaches for Dance (K-2, 3-5) but in the subsequent semesters, you will be able to coach other athletic disciplines. Please let us know which other interest you have during the interview and we will do our best to assign you to the teaching openings that suit your interest and experience. *Who You Are* - An educator with extensive classroom experience and a strong work ethic - *Must have fingerprint clearance or willingness to obtain one, if needed* - *Punctual, reliable*, and easy to communicate with via email and telephone - Have a college-level education or are an education student - *Have a clean background check (FBI and Child Abuse)* - Able to provide at least 2 relevant references - Availability for after-school hours *Experience:* Teaching - at least 3 years Classroom Management - at least 3 years Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 per hour Benefits: * Flexible schedule Experience: * Dancing: 2 years (Preferred) Ability to Commute: * San Francisco Bay Area, CA (Required) Work Location: In person
