Aspen Center provides affordable, comprehensive addiction treatment for men, empowering them with the skills and resources needed to achieve recovery and long-term sobriety.About the Role Under supervision, you will provide care, services, and support to clients in our Addictions and Restorative Justice (ARJ) programs. These programs serve individuals with substance use disorders and/or criminogenic risk factors, helping them build healthier, more sustainable lives.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport, interact with, and monitor residents while serving as a positive role modelDocument resident behaviors and maintain required records and reportsAssist with housekeeping, cleaning, and distribution of clothing, bedding, and suppliesMonitor or administer medications in accordance with program policiesShare client status updates with external partners while maintaining confidentialityIdentify and respond appropriately to emergencies or crisis situationsSupport residents in achieving treatment plan goalsWork independently and problem-solve effectivelyAttend staff meetings and required training sessionsAssist with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and teaching life skillsTransport residents to appointments, meetings, and activitiesCollect urine specimens and administer breathalyzer tests as neededLead educational group activities within program guidelinesProvide basic first aid when necessaryPerform other duties as assignedPerks & BenefitsMileage reimbursementPaid Time Off403B retirement contribution optionAnnual raises prioritized for employeesEmployee Assistance ProgramService awards and recognitionQualificationsEducation:High School Diploma or GED required. Coursework or credits toward a bachelor's degree in social work, human services, psychology, or related fields may be required depending on contract.Experience:Previous experience in similar services preferred.Skills:Strong reading, writing, math, and problem-solving abilities. Must be able to follow directions, maintain professional boundaries, and work as a patient, flexible, and collaborative team member.Licenses & CertificationsValid driver's license preferredMust pass a motor vehicle check (MVR) and meet LSS auto insurance requirementsDHS 83 training (Fire Safety, First Aid, Choking Procedures, Standard Precautions, Medication Administration) preferred; required after hireAdditional RequirementsLanguage Skills:Effective verbal and written communicationTechnology:Basic computer skills to complete timecards, emails, HRIS, EHR, and online trainingPhysical Demands:Regular standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, stair use, and walking.
