CNC Operator

JOB SNAPSHOT Location:Temecula, CA Job Title:CNC Grinder Pay Rate:$14-$20/HR of DOE JOB SUMMARY The parts we are currently running are complex detailed part actuators, pistons and landing gear pistons for aircraft. Applicants need to have a general knowledge of machining on a CNC lathe. Duties are to Operate Daewoo Puma CNC Lathes with Fanuc controls. The setup and programming of the machine is provided as well as the product line is proven. The team member’s responsibilities are to run the machine, and during the run, team members shall check the parts. Parts are to be checked for correct diameters, linear, radius and finish callouts etcetera using company calibrated tools as well as keep the parts in-tolerance by changing inserts and offsets as needed to correct for out of tolerance conditions. Team members document their activities by completing in-process inspection reports, work order travelers, job cards, and they perform basic maintenance on the machines when necessary IE clear chips out of the machine and add coolant as needed.
