Rolling Mill Operator - 3rd Shift

EMS is looking for experienced Rolling Mill Operators. Position Summary: Set up and operate a variety of ZR rolling mills and metal forming machines, working with close tolerances. Check and order material and work from route cards and schedules. Use a variety of precision measuring tools to perform in-process inspection and check incoming material to meet required standards Responsibilities: Set up and operate the mill, including roll changes Operate edge trimmer and in-line welder as needed Change rolls and components in the mill housing as needed Work with very close tolerances from route cards Use shop math, use micrometer, gauges, and samples Complete setups, routine maintenance, and other equipment related operations. Maintain production records and make data entries into computer systems Wear all required PPE at all times Maintain acceptable level of housekeeping order and cleanliness in area Other duties as required Education and Experience: High School or Equivalency Diploma Basic Shop Math Ability to read and understand written instructions in English Ability to use hand held measurement instruments Experience operating continuous metal strip processing equipment preferred EMS is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits harassment of any kind. sh1xI0Srcn
