Rolling Mill Operator - 3rd Shift

EMS is looking for experienced Rolling Mill Operators.Position Summary: Set up and operate a variety of ZR rolling mills and metal forming machines, working with close tolerances. Check and order material and work from route cards and schedules. Use a variety of precision measuring tools to perform in-process inspection and check incoming material to meet required standardsResponsibilities:Set up and operate the mill, including roll changesOperate edge trimmer and in-line welder as neededChange rolls and components in the mill housing as neededWork with very close tolerances from route cardsUse shop math, use micrometer, gauges, and samplesComplete setups, routine maintenance, and other equipment related operations.Maintain production records and make data entries into computer systemsWear all required PPE at all timesMaintain acceptable level of housekeeping order and cleanliness in areaOther duties as requiredEducation and Experience:High School or Equivalency DiplomaBasic Shop MathAbility to read and understand written instructions in EnglishAbility to use hand held measurement instrumentsExperience operating continuous metal strip processing equipment preferredEMS is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits harassment of any kind.Powered by JazzHR
